For most of the world’s history, punishment has been widely used to control another individual, group of individuals, or even countries. In the 21st century verbal or physical attack is common. Skinner argued consistently about the harmful effects of punitive methods of control and argued for humane ways for individuals to get along with each other.
Today, more than ever, the world needs the ethical principles Skinner advocated. This part of the website concentrates on promoting humane and effective practices through seminars and other educational means and on creating a world community of those dedicated to the same goals.
