The Foundation was established in 1989 to publish significant literary and scientific works in the analysis of behavior and to educate both professionals and the public about the science of behavior. Since that time it has expanded its operations to better serve the behavioral science community and the public.

Author of Writing Worthwhile Behavioral Objectives (1973), Behavioral Psychology for Teachers (1977) Coauthor of Teaching Behavior to Infants: A Manual for Childcare Workers and Parents with Charles C. Thomas, 1990 Her more recent publications have been articles, including two 2005 entries on B. F. Skinner in Volumes I and III of The Encyclopedia of Behavior Modification and Cognitive Behavior Therapy.
