October 2019 Update

TRANSLATIONS in PROGRESS
The Foundation continues to receive requests to translate Skinner books into languages other than English. On October 4th the Foundation received a request by the Spanish publisher Dogalia to translate The Behavior of Organisms into Spanish.

PUBLICATIONS
The Foundation is beginning a new series called Skinner for the 21st Century starting with The Behavior of Organisms with a foreword by Skinner’s colleague Bill Morse, and Skinner’s own reflections about the book written 50 years after its publication. Soon to follow will be Recent Issues.

JUST FOR FUN: The 2019 Ig Nobel Prize Ceremony

The Foundation congratulates Karen Pryor (right) and Theresa McKeon who were the stars of the 2019 Ig Nobel Prizes for their work with Dr. Martin Levy. The annual Ig Nobel event honors unusual or humorous research. Karen and Theresa worked with Martin Levy who used animal clicker training to teach surgeons to perform surgical skills.
